What i learned when i travled to British Columbia...

Thd capital of British Columbia is Vancover. Nickname for British Columbia is Pacific Province.The provincial flower of BC is the pacific dogwood. There provincial bird is the teller's jay. The provincial tree is the Red cedar. In BC there is world class white water rafting. There are over 600 or so provincial parks but many more national and city parks. Some majior cities in BC are Vancover,Kelowna and Nanaimo. British Columbia is ranked 3rf compared to other Canadian provinces. Some sights to see are Fort steel heritage town, Stanley park in Vancover and Butchart gardans in Victoria. Some anual events in BC are the polar bear swim in Vancover, international boat festival and the Jazzfest international in Victoria. The population in British Columbia is 4,063,760. Pofessional sports teams in British Columbia are Vancover canucks( hockey) and the B.C lions(football) . Some endangered species in BC is the Sea Otter, and the spotted owl. The natural resources are forests, copper, gold, zinc, silver, sulfer, coal, natural gas, oil , water and fish . Agriclutal products are dairy, beef cattle, poultry, eggs, hogs, flowers, and furits. Major rivers are, Fraser, Okanagan and Skeena.

Alberta.

What i learned when i travled to Alberta...

The capital of Alberta is Edmonton.West Edmonton mall is one of the biggest mall's in the world.Calgary is a major city in Alberta. Rock climbing is one of the great activities to do in Alberta. The western cordillera is great for tourisum and forestry. The sulfer springs smell like rotton eggs and have alot of snails living there. There is a lot of farming and ranches that have a lot of cattle and wheat growning on the farms. In Alberta there are many wolves living there. The tar sands have a big effect on the money and the environment in Alberta. Some people are against it and some people are for it. Alberta is a beautiful place to visit. The main land forms there are Interior plains and the Western cordillera. Fort Mcmurry is a great place to go in ablerta, they make alott of money, and sometimes they call it "Fort Mcmoney" because they make so much.

Saskatchewan.

What i learned when i travled to Saskatchewan..

The captial city of Saskatchewan is Regina. Some jobs you have to go train in Saskatchewan or you don't get the job, such as the RCMP. Saskatchewan is the province with thte most roads in Canada. The nickname is the bread basket of Canada, because they produce the most wheat in Canada. This province is known to have th most hours of sun light. The land form are only Canadian shield and Interior plains. The provincial mineral is Sylvite, also known as potash. The proncial animal is the while tailed deer. The green on the flag is to represent the northern forests and the lower half of the gold represents the southern grain areas. There provincial sport is curling. The population of saskatewan is 1,015,985. The largest city is Saskatoon. Skatchewan is home to 13 cities: Estevan, Humboldt, Lloydminster, Melfort, Melville, Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Prince Albert, Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current, Weyburn, Yorkton. Manitoba .

What i learned when i travled to Manitoba..


The capital of Manitoba is Winipeg. Manitoba has mostly Interior plains that have alot of farms.
In Churchill there are no roads, so you have to fly or take a train to get there. When your there, you would be looking out on to Hudson bay. The hudson bay lowlands have alot of baluga whales and polar bears . They mostly do alot of hunting, since they have alot of wild animals there. Lake winipeg is the biggest lake in Manitoba. Manitoba is bordered by Ontario, saskachewan and south USA. Devils lake is really polouted and there trying not to poloute it more, it's also connected into lake Winipeg wich is alos making it wose . Who would have thought that a Canadian city could be so affected by a desision made in the United states.

Ontario.

What i learned when i travlled to Ontario..

The capital city of Ontario is Toronto. The population of Onatrio is 12.1 million. The provincial flower is the white trillum. There manucatured products are Automobiles, Iron&Steal, and Michinery. The three main land froms are Hudson bay, St.lawrence low lands, and the canadian sheild. There Province convered with 90% canadian sheild. One sixth of the Ontario is made of up of lakes and rivers. Mined products are nickel and coper. The word "Ontario" means beautiful lake or "Shinning water" . Lake supirior is the largest lake in Ontario.

P.E.I

What i learned when i travlled to P.E.I..

The Capital of P.E.I. of Charlotte town. They have the history of Anne of green gables for alot of tourists.

There main resource is potato's, they grow alot of them every year. They have a speacialty bottle house, made of alll bottles from years and years. They have a kind of sand, thats called "red sand", and it's red from the iron mixed with air and water. P.E.I is a great place to grow potatos. Also, an amazing place for tourisum. It has very beatiful scenery .

Quebec.

What i learned when i travlled to Quebec..

Quebec city is the capital or Quebec. It's a french province and It has the most land mass. There population is ranked second in Canada. Montreal is the largest city and there specialty foods are, poutine, smoked meat, and beagles. Canadian sheild has alot of mining, and igneous rock. Appalations [another landform] rolling hills st lwrence lowlands also have alot of fishing too. They took three rivers and combined them togeather to make one big one. The rivers there are the James bay, Hudson bay, and the St.lawrence river. The james bay project is alos happening in Quebec.
